Some clients ask me if they should buy special containers before we begin our organizing sessions. My answer to them is ‘No.’ Until we sort and decide what to keep, what to let go of, and where to put things, we really won’t know what your storage needs will be. We may discover that you already have some appropriate storage containers, folders, or bins that we could use. At this point we can determine if you need more storage containers and if so, the best types to purchase.

There are a variety of containers available for storing items.They range from open bins and baskets, to lacquered or plastic boxes, tins and cans, covered plastic containers, divided boxes, stacking or handled bins and baskets, stacking drawers and shelves, storage bags, as well as modular storage systems.
